During the Coronavirus pandemic (2020), the public were reassured that they were doing the ‘right thing’, following the strong, simple message, “STAY HOME, PROTECT THE NHS, SAVE LIVES.”
The message changed to, “STAY ALERT, CONTROL THE VIRUS, SAVE LIVES.” Not exactly the unconfusing message the public were looking for. Hence a swathe of memes littered the internet, taking the mickey out of it. Like our Men’s Stay A Lert Tshirt.
