This Women’s Taxfree T-shirt is inspired by the outdated UK rules on VAT. Sanitary products have VAT on them. Stella Creasy, MP, pointed out that women’s sanitary products are taxed as luxury items but cakes (including jaffa cakes) are not. Really? A luxury? When it’s something half of the population need? We don’t think so. We decided a top highlighting the imbalance was appropriate.

Adverts selling sanitary products for women often try to show how a woman can continue a carefree lifestyle if only they would use their products. What if women had to use the tax-free alternative?
